Home to the world-famous Morton Arboretum, Lisle is known as “The Arboretum Village”. Situated at the crossroads of I-355 and I-88, two major highways in the heart of DuPage County’s High Tech Corridor, Lisle is also home to Benedictine University. Its charming downtown area has recently completed an award-winning renovation, being transformed into a beautiful, pedestrian-friendly retail and restaurant district that is truly the heart of the community. Lisle is also known for its annual “Eyes to the Sky” summer festival, occurring around the July 4th holiday. The highlight of the festival is a breathtaking launch of dozens of large hot air balloons into the early morning sky.
